The Associate Assembler role focuses on supporting the operational and logistical functions of NuVasive
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble parts and components
Follow work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and assembly drawings
Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
Identify and report defective materials or assembly issues
Material Handling: Receive, store, issue, and ship materials, supplies, and equipment as needed for daily operations, ensuring timely movement of parts across the facility
Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate records associated with inventory, orders, shipments, and equipment transactions; compile reports to support operational efficiency
Assembly and Component Work: Align parts, fasten components together, and ensure assemblies meet quality and precision standards; inspect completed parts for compliance with specifications
Production Support: Operate basic machinery or tools necessary for assembly tasks, preparing products for shipment, and supporting team workflow to meet production goals
Workplace Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and organized, properly dispose of waste, and follow safety protocols to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
Collaboration and Communication: Attend team meetings, coordinate with other departments for order fulfillment, and communicate technical or logistical issues as needed
Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
