Job Title: HVAC Assembler | Weekly Pay

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to support the build of chiller units for data centers and custom equipment. This role involves hands-on assembly using a variety of hand and power tools, along with general shop support to keep production moving efficiently. As individuals gain experience, there will be opportunities to expand into additional assembly areas and skill sets.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble chiller units for data center applications following work instructions and build specifications.

  • Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.

  • Assist with general shop and production support duties, including sweeping and maintaining a clean work area, shrink wrapping and packaging materials or completed units, and material handling and clean-up to support other assemblers.

  • Work collaboratively with the assembly team to meet daily production goals.

  • Follow safety guidelines, quality standards, and company procedures.

  • Cross-train into additional areas over time, including custom unit assembly.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in sheet metal or mechanical.

  • Proficiency in assembly, hand tools, blueprints, power tools, electrical schematics, and wiring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Candidates with experience in the manufacturing industry or sheet metal are strongly preferred.

  • A good attitude, a willingness to learn, and an ability to repeatedly execute a nice, crisp high-five.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large warehouse with windows and high ceilings, equipped with machines and assembly areas. It is climate-controlled and located in a brand-new building. Our small team operates like a family, with the founder treating everyone as such. We celebrate with fun holiday parties and other employee appreciation events. The first shift operates from 5:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Thursday, and 5:30 am to 10:00 am on Friday, while the second shift runs from 2:00 pm to 1:30 am Monday to Thursday. Employees enjoy a 30-minute lunch and two paid 10-minute breaks. The dress code is casual, but steel-toe boots are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Center, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.17 - $24.17/hr.
