The Assemblers are responsible for assembling motors, generators, and drives on the first shift in a manufacturing environment. Their tasks include assembling rotor units, exciter rotors, stators, rectifiers, and final product assemblies, along with sub-assemblies like terminal boxes and power supplies. They perform layout, fabrication, welding, and operate balancing equipment, while also handling labeling, QA documentation, and shipping preparations. The role requires effective teamwork, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to operate machinery, cranes, and tools, with physical ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces. The position offers a full-time hourly wage of $20.00-$25.00, with overtime opportunities, comprehensive benefits, and a union environment.
