Barton Staffing is currently looking for an Assembler for our client located in Addison. The assembler will build a variety of simple to moderate complex magnetic assemblies. Conduct marking, packaging, and labeling of assemblies.
Temp to Hire position
Monday to Friday
1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm
Pay rate $16-$18/hr depending on experience
Major Responsibilities/Activities
· Ability to read work orders and perform work as indicated.
· Build, test, calibrate components and/or assemblies to meet tolerances and product specifications.
· Use hand and power tools to build products to specifications.
· Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
· Clean parts to established procedures.
· Clock in/out of production software, claiming completed and scrap pieces.
· Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes according to established procedures.
· Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
· Place finished goods in the designated area.
· Maintain a clean and safe work area.
· Perform other functions as required.
