Seeking a full-time assembler in New Hyde Park, NY, earning $18-$22/hour with benefits including health coverage, PTO, 401K, EAP, and ESOP.
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM.
Required skills: experience in a shop/industrial setting, mechanical aptitude, measurement skills, familiarity with assembly, shop tools, and a clean NY driver’s license.
Daily tasks: reading blueprints, sourcing materials, measuring, assembling switchboard components, preparing surfaces, collaborating with design, quality checking, and packaging for shipment.
Physical requirements: lifting up to 50 lbs, working standing up to 8 hours, with occasional sitting, climbing, and exposure to dust, noise, and temperature changes. Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship provided.
