The Assembler is responsible for performing electronic and mechanical assembly operations in a high-reliability electronics manufacturing environment. This role supports the production of mission-critical products by following detailed work instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements. The Assembler works as part of a team to meet production schedules while maintaining a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and compliance.
Perform electronic and mechanical assembly tasks such as PCBA support, cable and wire harness assembly, box build, and sub-assemblies
Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and quality requirements
Adhere to IPC standards, J-STD-001 requirements, ESD controls, and customer specifications as trained
Inspect own work to ensure accuracy, workmanship, and compliance with quality standards
Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or process issues to Production Leads or Supervisors
Maintain clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstations
Accurately complete production documentation and tracking as required
Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
Support cross-training efforts and assist with continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Technical training in electronics assembly preferred but not required
Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred; entry level candidates may be considered
Basic understanding of electronic components, tools, and assembly processes a plus
Ability to read and follow written work instructions and procedures
Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools and assembly equipment
Basic computer skills for production tracking and documentation
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
Ability to follow instructions and accept feedback
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during assembly operations
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
