Description
Principal Accountabilities: (The job’s essential or most important functions and responsibilities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)
Level 1 Operator:
Operate machinery (hydraulic, pneumatic, etc) in the given work area to successfully achieve production rates.
Assist in the setup of work stations to produce product.
Able to read features from part drawings (bills of material, dimension tolerance. etc.) routings, work instructions, job packets and other forms.
Keep accurate work records such as labor entry, inspection data, part counts, etc.
Assist with performing quality inspections as directed by the Control Plan (to include the use of precision measuring equipment as well as visual inspection of product), properly identify and secure non-conforming product, and perform rework as needed.
Assist in performing material handling and general equipment maintenance and cleaning as needed.
Follow safety polices and report all unsafe conditions.
Must work effectively in a team environment (interaction with others in a positive manner, effective communication skills, actively working to resolve conflicts in a productive win/win manner) with a focus on servicing their customers both internal and external.
Follows all applicable policies, procedures, work instructions and documentation requirements.
Contribute to our quality system through continuous improvement and with involvement in waste eliminating activities.
Related duties as assigned.
Maintain and Promote Fenner Precision Polymers Values and Behaviors at all times.
Level 2 Operator:
Proficiently performs all essential tasks of a level 1 operator.
Set up machinery (hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.) making necessary adjustments as needed.
Perform quality inspections as directed by the Control Plan (to include the use of precision measuring equipment as well as visual inspection of product).
Able to train level 1 operators.
Environmental, Health & Safety Accountabilities: (The level of safety accountability needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.
Learn and follow EHS policies, rules and work instructions
Attend required EHS training
Wear the required PPE at all times
Take personal responsibility for keeping yourself and your co-workers and visitors free from injury by participating in and/or conducting risk assessments, work place inspections, corrective actions and safety observations
Report incidents, near miss, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts and other hazards in the work place. STOP WORK when imminent danger is present
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion and keep equipment in proper working condition.

Assembly Operator II
Education and/or Relative Experience: (The level of education and/or experience needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.)(Also show level of education needed for Career Progression)
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Experience with JD Edwards preferred.
Basic math skills.
Good hand eye coordination.
Able to work independently at a steady, high production rate.
Able to read and understand part drawings and shop paperwork.
