Seeking a detail-oriented Assembler and Operator to join our manufacturing team in Paterson, NJ. This role is responsible for the setup and operation of our Mydata100 placement machines to ensure the precise assembly of high-performance RF and microwave components.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate Mydata100 SMT placement machines according to production schedules.
Load and replenish components onto feeders, ensuring correct part orientation and placement.
Perform program selections and minor adjustments based on specific job kits and assembly drawings.
Conduct visual inspections of populated boards to identify missing, misaligned, or incorrect components.
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety and quality standards.
* Proven experience setting up and operating Mydata or Mycronic SMT placement machines including the use of Agilis feeders.
* Ability to accurately read and interpret assembly drawings and a Bill of Materials to ensure correct component placement.
* Proficiency in identifying electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, and ICs to maintain high precision for RF and microwave assemblies.
* Strong manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform detailed inspections and identify missing or misaligned parts on populated boards.
