Start your new career as an Assembler with MAU at BOMAG Americas in Ridgeway, SC. As an Assembler, you will help build high-quality road construction machinery by assembling mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components to precise specifications. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

What We Offer:
  • Pay of $18.73 per hour
  • First Shift | Monday - Thursday | 6:00 AM - 4:45 PM

What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)
  • 1-3 years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in heavy equipment or automotive
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, and measuring instruments
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Forklift certification and OSHA safety awareness (preferred)
What You'll Do as an Assembler:
  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic parts of road construction machinery
  • Follow detailed instructions, blueprints, and technical documents
  • Use a variety of tools and measurement devices to complete builds accurately
  • Inspect components for quality before progressing to the next assembly stage
  • Work with quality control to ensure adherence to safety and product standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues during production
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Test completed machinery for proper functionality
  • Communicate with team members, supervisors, and engineers to ensure smooth workflow
  • Document any process changes or defects encountered
