This is a 6-month onsite assembly technician role based in Rochester, NY, working A shift from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
- Responsible for assembling components and finished products using tools and machinery.
- Inspect items for quality, follow safety guidelines, and report issues.
- Maintain tools, organize the workspace, and prepare materials.
- Perform manual assembly of narrow-band radio products, adhering to BOM and engineering drawings.
- Utilize SAP (ERP) system and barcode scanning for operations.
- Connect products to test fixtures, operate, and test software.
- Support manufacturing cells and work independently or in teams.
Requirements include a high school diploma, ability to interpret technical diagrams, attention to detail, and manual dexterity. Experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred. Must be able to lift up to a specified weight, work with chemicals or solder, and wear protective gear. Preferred skills include electronics manufacturing experience, familiarity with hand tools, effective communication, and basic PC skills.
