Assembler Department Manufacturing & Distribution - Assembly

Description: ASC is looking for a skilled Assembler to connect components, fasten parts, and subassemblies to create our valves. You will maintain a safe and clean work environment and ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, blueprints, and follow them with precision is extremely important. Experience with tools such as pneumatic tools, wrenches, is required along with operating a forklift and the ability to lift heavy material up to 50 pounds.
How You Will Help:
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates, SOP, or reading measurements. • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassemblies. • Verifies specifications by measuring completed components. • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturers instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs. • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. • Tests valves utilizing hydrostatic testers. • Works well with individual and with orders. • Performs other duties as assigned by the lead supervisor or manager.
What You Will Bring:
• Experience with tools such as pneumatic tools, wrenches is required. • Assembly valve experience is a plus. • Requires standing. • Repetitive use of both hands. • Requires pushing and pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs. • Blueprint and drawing reading is a plus. • Use of Jib cranes is a plus.
