Title: Assembler

Location: San Jose, CA 95138

Duration:  06+ months (with possible of extension)

Shift: Swing Shift: 3:30pm - 12am

Pay Rate: $22.00/hr.

All US, ISC, touch labor roles are eligible for the Subco Bonus Program: $3k
• $1k at 14 days w/perfect attendance.
• $1k at 60 days
• $1k at 90 days
** to get 60- and 90-day bonus, worker must have received 14-day bonus.

Job Discerption:

• The Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and calibrating ultra-miniature components and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• This role supports efficient production operations while maintaining precision, safety, and accuracy.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assemble fabricated parts and components at designated workstations following product specifications and work instructions.
• Operate a variety of manual and semi-automated production equipment per documented work procedures.
• Perform specialized assembly processes such as wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, and epoxy attach (training provided as needed).
• Handle ultra-miniature materials which may only be visible through a microscope, requiring steady hands and precision.
• Perform work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
• Inspect components to identify defects and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Follow established procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
• Report production or quality issues to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 0–2+ years of hybrid, chip and wire, or solder assembly experience preferred
• Good hand-to-eye dexterity using small hand tools to process parts
• Ability to use tweezers and other small hand tools for precision work
• Ability to work under a microscope for up to 8 hours per day
• Basic computer skills for documenting defects, reviewing drawings, and time entry
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures
• Strong attention to detail and quality

Work Environment & Supervision:
• Works under direct supervision with clearly defined guidelines
• Limited independent judgment required; tasks are routine and structured
• Reports directly to a supervisor or production manager
Special Considerations:
• Lifting up to 30 lbs. (limited repetitive lifting)
• Exposure to machinery and moderate environmental risks (chemical, physical, or biological)
