Job Summary:The Assembler is responsible for assembling electrical enclosures, sub-panels, and related hardware components in accordance with company standards, engineering drawings, and work instructions. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to quality and safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:Duties/Responsibilities:Perform assembly processes to complete enclosure assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools, electronic tools, and pneumatic tooling.Install sub-panels, and install required hardware including screws, nuts, handles, latches, gaskets, and related components.Prepare finished products for delivery by inspecting functional defects and cosmetic appearance.Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and manufacturing schedules.Maintain quality standards by performing required quality checks and reporting defective materials or questionable quality conditions to the appropriate department or supervisor.Accurately complete required production paperwork and documentation.Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.Follow all company safety procedures and policies.Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs.Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly conditionFollow all required safety procedures. Performs all other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to interpret assembly drawings and basic blueprints.Proficiency in the use of basic hand and measuring tools.Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.Ability to perform basic shop math.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.Effective communication skills.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing (8–10 hours per shift).Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally with assistance as required.Ability to safely operate equipment such as hand tools and, where applicable, overhead cranes and hand jacks.
