Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks Assemblers who wish to work in a fast paced and ever changing high tech environment. If you have demonstrated successful experience in manual dexterity, the ability to multi-task, and possess process improvement skills, we invite you to consider joining our innovative team!

We currently have availability on our second shift:

Second shift: Monday -- Friday, 2:00pm -- 10:00pm

As an Assembler, a typical day might include the following:

  • Following detailed work instructions to perform basic production duties such as assembly, operating machinery, packaging products, building products and soldering.
  • Obtaining a basic understanding of quality and productivity standards.
  • Demonstrating a willingness to learn, retain information, and become proficient in basic electronic production processes.
  • Learning and following all safety policies.
  • Developing positive and effective working relationships with co-workers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently

Pay Range Data

New hires generally start at $21.00 per hour (second shift has a shift differential of $1.75 per hour). We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
