As an Assembler / Shipper, you'll build and inspect small mechanical components, support hardware installation, and help ensure finished products ship accurately and on time. Precision Assembly — Assemble small, high-accuracy components using blueprints, travelers, and detailed work instructions.
Hardware Installation — Install helicoils, inserts, and PEM-style hardware using torque tools and small assembly equipment.
Quality Inspection — Perform basic dimensional and visual inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other tools.
Order Processing — Use JobBOSS to track production, update travelers, and prepare shipping documentation.
Shipping & Receiving — Package parts, prepare labels, process shipments, and assist with receiving as needed.
Cross-Department Support — Jump in where needed to help the team meet deadlines and maintain smooth workflow.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow ISO/aerospace quality standards.
1+ year of experience in manufacturing or a machine shop
Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
Experience assembling small parts with hand tools and torque tools
Familiarity with helicoils, inserts, and mechanical fastening
Basic inspection skills (calipers, micrometers, visual checks)
Experience with shipping/receiving in a production environment
Comfort working in a shop environment and shifting between tasks
Bonus: JobBOSS experience, aerospace/defense exposure, or precision machining experience
