SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Refurbish Assemblers for a large, well-known client in South Elgin, IL.  As a Refurbish Assembler, you will be responsible for the continued disassembly, cleaning, inspection and preparation of units. Process involves disassembly of units and components, inspection, cleaning and polishing of stainless steel parts, and re-assembly of certain components using required hand tools and cleaning supplies.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members!  All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation (starting at $18/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). 
Available shifts include Full Time and Part Time:
  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (FT)
  • 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, OR 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM (PT)
Responsibilities of the Assembler:  
  • Disassembled returned units using hand and power tools.
  • Reassembled drive units using socket wrenches, rivet guns, and sealant.
  • Cleaned and prepared parts using brushes, cleaning solutions, and abrasive materials.
  • Operated a sandblasting cabinet to remove rust and scale from components.
  • Polished metal parts using a bench grinder with a wire wheel.
  • Polished stainless steel cases using specialized polishing equipment.
  • Inspected parts during cleaning and assembly to ensure quality and proper function.
  • Maintained a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company procedures.
Required Qualifications of the Assembler:
  • Must have previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.   
  • High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
