Job Title: Assembler
Location: Sugar Land, TX, 77478
Duration: 12+ Months
Pay rate: $19.00/hr - $19.50/hr on W2 without benefits

Summary:
  • The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
  • Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
  • Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Create labor records for all transactions.
  • Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

Minimum Years of experience:
  • 2 – 3 years
Education Background:
  • High School Diploma/ GED
Languages competency?
  • English
Is there any certification required?
  • IPC-610
Key Skills:
Assembly and soldering of printed circuit boards
Read design drawings
Electronic component identification
Understanding of Quality standards
Ability to use microscope for long periods of time
Key Abilities: follow standard procedures, Identifying solder defects
