Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic products while ensuring compliance with quality standards and manufacturing procedures. The ideal candidate has experience with printed circuit board assembly, soldering, and electronic component identification, and is committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Description
- Assemble components for a variety of electronic product lines according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Perform printed circuit board (PCB/PWA) assembly and soldering in accordance with IPC-610 standards.
- Test assembled products and troubleshoot assembly or functional issues.
- Identify and resolve defects related to soldering and product assembly.
- Read and interpret blueprints, design drawings, and assembly documentation.
- Select and use the appropriate tools, fixtures, and equipment required for assembly.
- Identify electronic components and ensure correct placement and orientation.
- Use microscopes for detailed inspection and assembly tasks over extended periods.
- Maintain accurate labor and production records in SAP and other manufacturing systems.
- Follow established manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.
Skills Required
- 2–3 years of experience in electronics or manufacturing assembly.
- IPC-610 Certification required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Printed circuit board (PCB/PWA) assembly.
- Electronic soldering techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and blueprints.
- Electronic component identification.
- Understanding of quality standards and inspection processes.
- Ability to identify solder defects and perform rework as needed.
- Proficiency using hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience using SAP preferred.
Education
- Required: High school diploma or GED

Pay rate
- $19.50 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
