Job Summary

The Assembler I is responsible for building level I products using precise instructions and processes.

Essential Job Functions

Builds level I product as defined in Assembly Training Matrix Builds products and sub-assemblies with raw materials by using templates, tools, and reading measurements. Performs all functions according to documented work instructions for products. Performs quality checks on all final products.

Meets or exceeds certification requirements for position. Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Safety, Health, and Environmental team member. Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals. Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skills. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1 year experience with Kimray products preferred. Must successfully complete all requirements established as an Assembler. Manual dexterity. Strong hand to eye coordination. Ability to operate Computers, Printers, CTS Tester, Scales, Hoists. Ability to read and interpret blueprints as well as written instructions. Must be proficient with verbal communication. Must have strong attention to detail. Must have analytical and critical thinking skills. Must pass background check and drug screen.

Work Environment

Warehouse environment with elevated noise and moving equipment. Continuous skin exposure to oils, greases, adhesives, paints, and other chemicals. Continuous exposure to atmospheric conditions that may affect the respiratory system. PPE required in specific areas.

Physical Requirements

Continuous standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling. Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
