Assembler

Schedule: Monday–Friday, some weekends, 6:00 AM until finish

Position Summary

Entry‑level role performing repetitive assembly tasks to mass‑produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Place parts in specified positions and assemble components
  • Fasten parts using bolts, clips, screws, cement, or other methods
  • Cut materials to required measurements
  • Remove defective products as needed
  • Operate machines for force‑fitting or fastening
  • Work at various stations based on production needs
  • Adapt to changing tasks as different product models are produced
  • Clean equipment and work areas following safety procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

None.

Minimum Requirements

  • No formal education or experience required
  • Carpentry experience is helpful

Competencies

  • Ability to read and follow simple instructions
  • Basic math skills; ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to solve routine problems and follow detailed instructions
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Continuous standing, walking, reaching, and use of hands
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crawling
  • Lift/move up to 25 lbs continuously, 50 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs with assistance
  • Requires close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, extreme temperatures, weather, vibration, and electrical risk
  • Loud work environment; PPE such as ear and eye protection required
