Assembler

The Assembler performs repetitive workstation or line assembly operations to build knife components into fully assembled products. You use hand and power tools to complete mechanical assembly tasks, rotate through multiple stations, and are expected to learn all stations by the end of training. You maintain a clean and organized work area, follow all safety regulations, and support production goals by consistently meeting quality and output standards.

• Perform repetitive workstation and assembly line operations to assemble knife components into completed knives.
• Use hand tools and power tools to carry out mechanical assembly tasks according to established procedures.
• Learn and operate all assembly stations by the end of the training period to support flexible production needs.
• Work with small parts and components while maintaining accuracy and consistency in assembly.
• Follow detailed, multi-step assembly instructions and remember the correct sequence of tasks.
• Inspect assembled products for quality and ensure all parts meet required specifications.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe condition at all times.
• Follow prescribed safety regulations and contribute to a safety-minded culture on the production floor.
• Meet daily production numbers and support results-driven performance targets.
• Stay focused and on task in a fast-paced environment with intense deadlines in certain departments.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support smooth line operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing and production needs.

• Reliability in attendance and performance to support production goals.

Many positions operate on assembly lines where meeting daily production numbers is a key focus, and certain departments work under intense deadlines. Safety is a top priority, and team members are expected to follow safety regulations and maintain an orderly work area. You will stand for the entire shift, work with small parts, and use hand and power tools in a structured production setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
