Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
This role involves assembling stainless steel and copper plate units with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safety in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. You will stack plates, add sockets, verify specifications against blueprints, and use basic computer tools to support production and inventory processes across multiple shifts.
Responsibilities
Inspect plates carefully for defects or flaws and ensure all ports and orifices meet required specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints to confirm that assembled units meet design requirements.
Stack stainless steel and copper plates accurately and add sockets to units according to work instructions.
Use basic computer systems to pull blueprints, check inventory, charge off plate packs, and charge units to the production roster.
Operate and interact with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems and other production equipment as needed.
Measure components using a tape measure to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Perform mechanical assembly tasks with consistent attention to detail and quality standards.
Lift and move components weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, particularly on L and XL assembly lines.
Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues related to quality, inventory, or equipment to supervisors in a timely manner.
Essential Skills
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and defect detection.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Basic computer skills, including pulling blueprints, checking inventory, and updating production records.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly on a regular basis.
At least 2 years of assembly or manufacturing-related experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with mechanical assembly tasks.
Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
High School Diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical assembly experience is preferred.
Experience working with hand tools in a production or general production environment.
Familiarity with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems.
Comfort working on L and XL assembly lines involving heavy lifting.
Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or weekend shifts as needed.
Strong reliability, punctuality, and willingness to learn and follow standard work instructions.

Work Environment
The role is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility focused on production and assembly work. You will work with stainless steel and copper plates, hand tools, tape measures, and HMI-based equipment while using computers to access blueprints and manage inventory. Multiple shift options are available: 1st shift runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; 2nd shift runs Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with an additional hourly shift differential; and a weekend shift runs Friday through Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., where you work 36 hours and receive pay for a full-time schedule. The work involves regular lifting of up to 50 pounds, particularly on L and XL assembly lines, in a structured and safety-conscious environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
