Position Summary:

The Assembler-Valve will play a crucial role in the meticulous assembly of precision valves, ensuring the integrity and functionality of our products. This hands-on position requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to producing high-quality valves that meet industry standards. Primary Functions:

• Perform detailed assembly of valves according to engineering specifications and assembly instructions.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to ensure accurate and efficient assembly.
• Conduct thorough inspections of assembled valves to verify adherence to quality standards.
• Identify and report any defects or deviations, collaborating with the quality assurance team for resolution.
• Participate in the testing and calibration of assembled valves to ensure functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and address any issues with valve operation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address assembly challenges, implement improvements, and provide feedback on product design.
• Report any issues with tools to facilitate timely repairs or replacements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanical assembly are a plus.
• Proven experience in valve assembly or a similar precision assembly role.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow detailed assembly instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used in valve assembly.
• Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job such as:
  • Safely navigating a manufacturing environment
  • Bending and stooping
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs
