Mechanical Assembler for a full-time, first-shift opportunity in a clean assembly environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, experience using hand tools, and the ability to assemble precision components while maintaining quality standards.
Pay & Schedule- Starting pay: $20.00 per hour
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday
- 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Overtime may be required based on production needs
Requirements for the Mechanical Assembler- Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, depth gauges, and other inspection equipment
- Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced production environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis
Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities- Assemble gear motors, reducers, adjustable drives, and related mechanical components
- Pull parts and maintain inventory stock between assembly lines
- Perform repair, restock, and warranty evaluations
- Conduct testing and service activities to verify product quality
- Complete wash, preparation, and paint-related processes
- Pack, ship, and receive products and materials
- Use calipers, depth gauges, paint mil gauges, and other measuring equipment
- Inspect completed work and perform rework as needed
- Read and follow blueprints, quality procedures, and work instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Rotate between workstations and assembly functions as needed
- Safely move materials using forklifts or overhead cranes when trained and authorized
- Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements- Ability to stand and move continuously throughout the workday
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Repetitive lifting up to 30 pounds
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to meet production goals and quality expectations
Work Environment- On-site manufacturing and assembly environment
- Exposure to oils, greases, solvents, cleaners, and paint-process chemicals
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
- Regular, predictable attendance required
