Location: West Columbia, SC

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

1st - Mon-Fri 7A-3:30P 2nd - Mon-Fri- 3:30pm-12:00am, Saturday as needed

Looking for Assembler jobs in West Columbia where teamwork and steady production make a difference? Assemble electrical and electronic components using work instructions, schematics, blueprints, and drawings.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • Ability to assemble products or components according to work instructions and production standards.
  • Ability to safely use basic hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or production equipment as required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect completed work for quality.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while performing repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Dependable attendance, teamwork, and commitment to workplace safety.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Electrical experience required
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Experience working on production lines or assembling mechanical, electrical, or consumer products is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Assembler.
  • Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment.
  • Ability to maintain productivity in a factory environment while following established safety procedures.

What You Will Do

As a Assembler you will assemble products or components, verify materials, inspect completed work, operate basic production tools, package finished items, and support daily manufacturing goals. You will follow work instructions, maintain organized work areas, identify quality concerns, and contribute to safe, accurate, and efficient factory operations.

The Assembler supports factory operations by assembling products according to established work instructions and quality standards. This role requires organization, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive production tasks efficiently.

A successful Assembler understands basic assembly methods, product quality, production workflows, and workplace safety while helping maintain reliable manufacturing operations. Dependable performance contributes directly to production success.
