Summary: The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues. * Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures. * Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products. * Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies. * Create labor records for all transactions. * Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
Bellows Welder Job Description
Responsibilities:
Setup new production work areas, including layouts, tooling and equipment setup, etc.
Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles
Manufacture, assemble, and test mechanical, fluid and electrical measurement equipment assemblies according to written procedures and engineering models, drawings, specifications and written procedures
Perform precision seam welding work for long periods of time seated at machine
Interface with production leads, supervisors, manager and QA inspection to ensure timely customer delivery
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct discrepancies by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control
Setup and operate precision calibrated tools including but limited to, weld controllers, gauges, etc.
Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency
Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 6S and Lean initiatives
Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to achieving organizational success
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
3-5 years direct experience in industrial manufacturing, integration, or other relevant field
Ability to work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities
Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures
Basic mathematics skills such as calculating spring rates
Hand dexterity required to assemble small mechanical or electrical components
Basic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to climb ladders/stairs and work in small restricted areas
Perform repetitive work including lifting of heavy items up to 44 lbs.
Work off-shift, extended hours overtime, and weekends if/when necessary
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field
Experienced in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment
