Assembler 

Location: Near Ballston Spa, NY
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Employment Type: Temp-To-Hire | Full-Time | Onsite


Position Overview

Our growing manufacturing client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to support production of their products. This role is responsible for assembling components, following technical instructions, and ensuring finished products meet quality and customer specifications.


This is a hands-on opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, building products, and contributing to a team-focused production environment.


Key Responsibilities

Assembly & Production

  • Assemble fixtures and related components following established manufacturing procedures 
  • Interpret work instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings to complete builds accurately 
  • Plan and organize daily tasks to meet production schedules and deadlines 


Quality Control

  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements 
  • Identify defects or inconsistencies and take corrective action as needed 


Work Environment & Organization

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation and production area 
  • Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely 


Inventory & Materials

  • Track and maintain inventory of assigned materials and components 
  • Assist with organizing parts and supplies for production runs 


Team Collaboration & Improvement

  • Work both independently and collaboratively with production team members 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency 


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or production environment 
  • Electrical or electronic assembly experience preferred 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality 
  • Good organizational and time-management skills 
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and components 
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team 


Preferred:

  • Experience working within an ISO or quality management system 
  • Familiarity with production processes and assembly line environments
