Volt is immediately hiring1st and 2nd shift Entry-Level Assemblers in Nampa, ID.

2 shifts available!

1st Shift-Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm-$15/hr.

2nd Shift-Monday-Friday 12:00pm-8:30pm-$16/hr.

As an Assembler you will:

• Perform assembly and subassembly processes using hand tools, presses, power tools, and fastening equipment
• Operate fabricating machines such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines, and punches
• Measure workpiece dimensions to ensure accuracy and quality of machine operations
• Complete equipment changeovers as required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Team Leader
• Support additional duties as assigned by supervision
• Follow all safety procedures and actively promote a safe work environment
• Identify and communicate safety hazards or improvement opportunities

This is a full-time, Temp-to-hire opportunity. 

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm-$15/hr.

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 12:00pm-8:30pm-$16/hr.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Self-motivated with strong initiative
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the shift
• Frequently lift and move up to 25 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs.; regularly lift up to 10 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts
• Requires close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Pay: $15/hr. - $16/hr. 

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
