    Job Description

    • Bond and assemble aerospace components according to blueprints and specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
    • Responsible for reading process charts, work orders, and specifications to determine sequence of bonding operations, the amount of bonding agent to be applied, and areas to be bonded.
    • Ensure inventory of hardware and supplies are maintained and accounted for.
    • Ensure all equipment used for assembly is in proper working order.
    • Complete Daily Check List
    • Complete and retain all applicable inspection data sheets.
    • Ensure that parts are complete and ready for over inspection:
      • EX: Thickness, touch up, cleanliness, routers complete, etc.
    • Daily check of liquid Nitrogen
    • Ensure Assembly tools are accounted for and secured daily.
    • Mixing of sealants and adhesives
    • Use of computers to document all applicable information
