Bond and assemble aerospace components according to blueprints and specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
Responsible for reading process charts, work orders, and specifications to determine sequence of bonding operations, the amount of bonding agent to be applied, and areas to be bonded.
Ensure inventory of hardware and supplies are maintained and accounted for.
Ensure all equipment used for assembly is in proper working order.
Complete Daily Check List
Complete and retain all applicable inspection data sheets.
Ensure that parts are complete and ready for over inspection:
EX: Thickness, touch up, cleanliness, routers complete, etc.
Daily check of liquid Nitrogen
Ensure Assembly tools are accounted for and secured daily.
Mixing of sealants and adhesives
Use of computers to document all applicable information
