Job Description
- Assembler
- $19/hr.
- 2nd shift (3pm-1:30am)
- Monday-Friday
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assemble products to customer specifications safely, efficiently, and on time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all safety rules and promote a safe work environment
- Assemble, align, and fasten parts using hand and power tools
- Inspect, test, and adjust units to meet specifications
- Read blueprints and follow assembly instructions
- Connect wiring, hoses, and components as required
- Measure and verify parts using gauges and tools
- Report issues or defects to supervisor
- Communicate production, quality, and safety concerns
- Train others as needed (Level II & III)
- Support process improvements (Level III)
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred + 1 year experience
- Ability to read blueprints and use basic math
- Knowledge of tools, materials, and production processes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to inspect products for quality standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Mostly standing (95%) with some bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Lift up to 40 lbs (most items 5–30 lbs)
- Frequent use of hands for detailed assembly work
- Ability to see close details
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Exposure to oil, grease, and noise (up to 88 dB)
