Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Claremore. This position is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting mechanical components and finished products while ensuring all work meets engineering specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.
The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, enjoys hands-on work, and is committed to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials
Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products using hand and power tools
Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials
Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
Perform functional testing and troubleshoot assembly issues as needed
Maintain accurate production and quality records
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing concerns
Operate assembly equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized work area
Follow all company safety procedures, manufacturing standards, and required PPE guidelines
Assist with inventory control and material handling as needed
Meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Preferred Qualifications
Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience
Experience with product testing and quality inspections
Knowledge of production processes and manufacturing environments
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent use of hand and power tools and repetitive hand movements
Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE
