Assembly Associate – 2nd Shift

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Associate to support our second shift production team in PCB assembly. This role involves assembling, testing, and inspecting electronic components according to established specifications while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assembling electronic components and partially completed parts following detailed instructions and design specifications.
  • Conducting testing procedures including automated optical inspection, in-circuit and flying probe testing, and end-of-line functional tests to ensure product quality.
  • Maintaining clean, organized workstations and handling tools, parts, and testing equipment properly.
  • Following all safety, environmental, and regulatory protocols throughout the assembly process.
  • Supporting high-complexity PCB assemblies including double-sided, fine pitch SMT, through-hole, and POP assemblies on multiple SMT lines.
  • Accurately documenting production traceability and quality results in compliance with IPC 610 Class 2 and 3 standards.
  • Collaborating under direct supervision, adhering to standard operating procedures and maintaining consistent quality output.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum 12 months of assembly experience, preferably in PCB or electronic manufacturing.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Test (DFT), and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles is preferred.
