You arrive to the line before the first cycle, scan yesterdays logs, and prioritize your morning: a pneumatic leak on a turntable, a bowl feeder tune-up, and a PLC fault that only shows up during changeover. By mid-morning youve rebuilt a subassembly, verified sensors, and coached an operator through a quick reset. After lunch, you review a new machine design, approve tweaks for serviceability, and join a tryout on a prototype to validate reliability and throughput. Before you leave, you close out work orders, update records, and flag a continuous-improvement idea that eliminates a recurring jam.
As our Assembly Automation Maintenance Specialist, you keep semi-automatic assembly equipment at peak performance through hands-on repair, preventive care, and thoughtful troubleshooting. You support production teams across departments with prompt technical assistance and uphold company standards for safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager or designee.
