Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Helpers to join a growing manufacturing team in Claremore. This position is responsible for assembling products, components, and subassemblies according to blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards while supporting efficient production operations.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools
Ability to accurately read a tape measure and follow detailed work instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assemble products, components, and subassemblies according to specifications and work instructions
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and production documents
Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
Report defective materials, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors
Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation
Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety policies and production procedures
Perform additional production-related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or industrial assembly experience
Experience using precision measuring tools
Mechanical assembly or fabrication background
Strong organizational and communication skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive physical activity
Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment while wearing required PPE
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing and assembly facility
Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork
Exposure to assembly equipment, hand tools, moving machinery, and industrial noise
