Assembly Technician – Immediate 3-4 Month Opportunity with Overtime!

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for precision assembly? Join our team on an exciting short-term project focused on clearing a backlog of hydraulic components. This role offers a fast-paced environment where your skills will directly impact production efficiency and quality — all while enjoying competitive pay between $22 and $25 per hour DOE.

In this position, you will produce high-quality hydraulic components through subassembly, final assembly, acceptance testing, and finishing. Your expertise in reading engineering drawings and specifications will be key to ensuring each piece meets industry standards. You'll be responsible for accurately documenting work and testing data, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to a collaborative team dedicated to safety and excellence.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in using measurement tools such as micrometers, height gauges, dial calipers, and optical flats
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions
• Experience in building and finishing hydraulic components
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills and good math ability
• Excellent communication skills in English

Nice to Have Skills:

• Airframe & Powerplant License holder (preferred)
• Prior work in aviation maintenance, military, or manufacturing environments

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of two years’ experience in aviation maintenance, military, or manufacturing roles

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work sitting or standing for up to 8 hours per day and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed during the project duration
