A manufacturing company in Columbus is hiring Assembly team members to support production operations in a fast-paced environment. This position involves assembling hydraulic cylinder components, operating equipment, inspecting materials and ensuring products meet quality standards. Training is available for motivated candidates with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
Assemble hydraulic cylinder components according to specifications
Operate hydraulic presses, manual lathes and oil-test bench equipment
Read CAD drawings, job orders, operator manuals and work instructions
Inspect, debur, and stack production materials
Verify measurements and product conformance using calipers, squares, tape measures and other gauges
Maintain accurate time logs for completed work
Keep work areas clean, organized and safe
Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:
Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Basic math skills required
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to safely use tools and equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 20 50 pounds occasionally
Frequent lifting of 10 25 pounds
Ability to stand and work throughout the shift
