Experience: Minimum 6 months in a fast paced Manufacturing environment. Ability understands and follows instructions given by leads.

Education: High-School Diploma or GED

Computer/Software: Not required

Job Scope: Assist Production Lead to achieve daily production goals. Ensure that all products meets company quality standard and completed on time in an efficient manner.

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support Production Lead in achieving daily production goals by working on the production line.
• Support Production Lead in monitoring ALOM quality standard while achieving daily production goals.
• Assist Production Lead in setting up production line and monitoring material flow to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Operate other packaging related equipment like taper, L-sealer, serial scanning systems etc.
• Minimize waste of any resource and rework.
• Keeps the department neat, clean and organized at all times.
• Assists other departments as needed.
• Follows company policies and safety procedures.
• Promote and maintain quality and safety awareness
• Perform daily tasks with considerations of waste minimization, and other environmental considerations
• Adhere to the environmental policy and be aware of significant environmental impacts related to job
• Support the Environmental Management System (EMS) implementation as directed by the supervisor
• Inform the supervisor regarding any accidents or nonconformities that may affect the environment and, if possible, report any environmental nonconformity using the CAPA system
• Provide suggestions for improving the EMS to the supervisor, management or by using the suggestion box
• Other task as required

Special Requirements

Requires ability to move freely throughout the facility (may include walking up and down stairs, through tight or congested areas, as well as up or down ladders), ability lift, pull, and push up to 30 lbs., to stand for 7 to 8 hours, ability to verify, by sight and accuracy of product and appropriate paperwork.

Day Shift Monday thru Friday 5am to 1:30pm $17.75/hr.
