Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Assembly Helper for a manufacturing opportunity in Claremore. This position supports the production and assembly of air coolers and related components by preparing materials, assisting Assemblers and Machine Operators, using basic hand and power tools, performing quality checks, and helping maintain an organized production area.
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly experience is helpful but not always required. Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, dependable attendance, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly experience preferred
Ability to safely use basic hand tools
Willingness to learn basic power tools
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English
Basic math skills for measuring and counting materials
Strong attention to detail and product quality
Ability to follow work instructions and diagrams
Ability to work effectively as part of a production team
Willingness to assist in different production areas as needed
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with assembly of air coolers and related components
Follow applicable work instructions and diagrams
Retrieve parts and materials for production
Stage components for Assemblers and Machine Operators
Organize materials within assigned production areas
Use wrenches, screwdrivers, and other basic hand tools
Use applicable power tools after training
Fasten and secure components
Assist with component positioning and alignment
Perform basic measurements
Complete simple quality checks
Verify parts and assemblies meet applicable specifications
Move materials using carts and pallet jacks
Assist with movement of finished products
Identify and report defective materials
Report equipment problems and safety concerns
Maintain clean and organized workstations
Assist with packaging and labeling
Prepare finished products for shipment when required
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Perform additional production and assembly duties as assigned
Assembly Responsibilities
Candidates may regularly assist with:
Component assembly
Part preparation
Fastener installation
Component positioning
Alignment
Material staging
Basic measurements
Quality inspection
Packaging and labeling
General production support
Candidates should be comfortable learning different assembly processes and supporting experienced production personnel.
Tools & Equipment
Candidates may regularly use:
Wrenches
Screwdrivers
Basic hand tools
Simple power tools
Tape measures and measuring equipment
Carts
Pallet jacks
Other production equipment as assigned
Candidates are not expected to arrive with advanced tool experience but should be mechanically inclined and willing to learn.
Material Staging & Production Support
Retrieve required parts and components
Stage materials for upcoming assembly work
Keep production personnel supplied with required materials
Organize parts within designated areas
Move materials safely throughout the facility
Help prevent production delays caused by missing or misplaced components
Assist Machine Operators and Assemblers as directed
Quality Responsibilities
Perform basic visual quality checks
Verify correct components are being used
Check basic measurements when required
Identify visibly damaged or defective materials
Report quality concerns promptly
Help ensure completed assemblies meet applicable production requirements
Maintain attention to detail throughout repetitive assembly work
Packaging & Shipping Preparation
Depending on production needs, candidates may:
Package finished products
Label completed products
Organize components for shipment
Stage finished goods
Help prepare completed assemblies for the next production or shipping stage

Previous experience working from production instructions or diagrams
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
Frequent handling of parts and components
Manual dexterity required for assembly and hand-tool operation
Ability to lift, carry, and move items ranging from light to moderately heavy within established company safety guidelines
Comfortable performing repetitive and physically active production work
Ability to safely work around moving machinery and industrial equipment
Ability to wear all required PPE
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing facility in Claremore
Regular work around production equipment, tools, materials, and moving machinery
Environment may include varying temperatures and elevated noise levels
Team-oriented workplace with established production goals and deadlines
Hands-on position involving assembly, material staging, quality checks, and general production support
Consistent 5:00 AM 3:30 PM first-shift schedule
Strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, quality, productivity, and dependable attendance
