Assembler I
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler I for a manufacturing company in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you will contribute to a quality-focused production team while gaining valuable experience in a structured manufacturing environment.
Pay Rate
$17.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Assembler I Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, or machinery while following work orders, blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
- Inspect parts and finished assemblies for quality and accuracy; identify defects and report issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to 5S standards and applicable environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Meet production goals and timelines while following company, safety, quality, customer, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing, EMC teams, and/or FIH initiatives; follow updated policies, procedures, work instructions, and annual training requirements.
- Support the effectiveness of the Quality Management System and perform other duties as assigned.
Assembler I Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, as well as follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and blueprints.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools; experience with mechanical, electrical, or electronic assemblies is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, familiarity with quality inspection processes, and basic math skills for measurements, counts, and tolerances.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment and meet production metrics or quotas.
- Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies and work independently or as part of a team; a high school diploma or GED and previous manufacturing or assembly experience are preferred.
