Assembly Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Associate to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling metal and mechanical components according to specifications, work instructions, and quality standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products using hand and power tools.
• Follow blueprints, diagrams, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
• Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform basic measurements using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or quality concerns.
• Package completed products and prepare them for shipment or the next stage of production.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
• Assist with other manufacturing and assembly tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and assembly drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive hand movements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
