Primary Functions:
Installation of various vehicle interior/exterior parts according to specifications and using hand tools, power tools, and production fixtures. Duties and Responsibilities
Installation of all nonelectrical interior/exterior components and hardware.
Bolts, screws, clips, or otherwise fastens together parts to form subassemblies, such as doors, seats, instrument control panels, steering columns, and axle units.
Seals joints and seams, using caulking gun.
Fastens seats, door paneling, headliners, carpeting, molding, and other trim into position.
Assembles fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations.
Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications
Requirements:
Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices.
Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools such as: drills, screw gun.
Must have general knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards.
Function with a minimal amount of supervision or no supervision.
Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.
