Job Summary:
This role is responsible for overseeing a team of build technicians in a rapid prototyping and low-rate production environment. You will manage daily operations, drive production targets, and ensure high-quality standards are met. This position requires a hands-on leader capable of troubleshooting technical issues and motivating a team in a fast-paced, evolving setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and direct a team of 8-12 build technicians daily.
Assign work, track production output, and address bottlenecks.
Uphold quality and safety standards on the assembly floor.
Train and develop technician skills and performance.
Liaise between engineering and production teams on build issues.
Must-Have Skills:
Proven experience in a supervisory manufacturing role.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Industry Experience
Experience in prototype or low-rate production manufacturing environments is highly preferred, particularly within industries like robotics, aerospace, automotive, or defense.
