Job Title: Assembly

Location: Little Canada, MN

Pay Range: $18.75/hr

 

Position Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable individuals to join our team as Medical Assembly Technicians. This role involves assembling and packaging capital medical equipment in an ESD-controlled manufacturing environment (not a clean room). Candidates should be comfortable working with equipment similar to computers and performing hands-on assembly tasks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, repair, and test medical devices and capital equipment according to established procedures
  • Perform routine production tasks under close supervision with a focus on quality and efficiency
  • Follow standardized manufacturing processes and work instructions
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all production activities and ensure traceability of parts
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding production issues or improvements
  • Follow all safety guidelines and properly use required safety equipment
  • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with internal teams and visitors
  • Assist in achieving production goals and performance metrics
  • Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to recognize colors accurately
  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment required
  • ERP system experience preferred
  • Previous experience in medical device or regulated environments preferred
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Work Environment & Expectations

  • ESD manufacturing environment (not a clean room)
  • Business casual dress code
  • Must commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
