Job Details

Position Overview

We are seeking an Assembly Manager to oversee day-to-day operations within a specialized industrial assembly and distribution facility. This individual will lead a small team, drive operational performance, improve processes, and support the successful adoption of new technologies and systems.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys balancing leadership responsibilities with direct involvement in daily operations. The successful candidate will thrive in an environment undergoing positive change and will play a key role in helping the organization scale for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily assembly, warehouse, shipping, and receiving activities
• Manage and develop a small operations team while maintaining accountability and engagement
• Drive inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
• Support implementation and optimization of ERP and technology platforms
• Establish and improve standard operating procedures
• Partner cross-functionally with sales, customer service, and operational leadership
• Monitor production schedules, workflow, and customer delivery expectations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the operation
• Assist with training, coaching, and succession planning efforts

Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience within manufacturing, assembly, distribution, warehouse, or industrial operations
• Experience leading through change, process improvement, or system implementations
• ERP experience required; Oracle experience highly preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Hands-on leadership style with willingness to work alongside the team
• Experience in fluid power, hydraulics, pneumatics, hose assembly, or related industries preferred
