Assembly Operator

APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Rochester Hills, MI looking to add Temporary Assembly Technicians to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to assembly customer parts and perform quality inspection duties. What’s in it for you:- Multiple Shifts Available:

• 6:00 am - 2:30 pm - Monday to Friday

  • 2:30pm-11pm - Monday to Friday
  • 11pm-7:00am - Sunday to Thursday

• Contract assignment

• Occasional overtime (may be required)

What your day will look like:- Basic assembly of materials

• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Read and follow operator instruction sheets and work instructions
• Use basic measuring tools and gauges as needed
• Weigh and verify product counts (if applicable)
• Label and package finished goods accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized work area (5S standards)
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

What we are looking for:- High school diploma or GED required

• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Sit for extended periods while performing assembly tasks
• Demonstrate good hand dexterity and fine motor skills
• Have strong visual inspection abilities
• Follow work instructions and directions accurately
• Work independently with minimal supervision
