Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
Location: Taunton, MA
Duration: 4-month contract with the possibility of conversion to a full-time position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Assembly Operator to assemble, inspect, clean, and package products according to work orders, customer specifications, and quality standards. This position requires strict adherence to safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and operating procedures while maintaining productivity and minimizing material waste.
Assemble products according to work orders, drawings, bills of materials, and product specifications.
Follow all quality, safety, GMP, and operating procedures.
Accurately complete required production records and documentation.
Record accurate production information in the company’s Factivity system.
Use rulers, Tappi charts, Go/No-Go gauges, and other equipment to verify product quality.
Set up branding equipment and brand coils according to specifications.
Load, unload, and program post-cure ovens using the correct production cycles.
Set up and operate spooling and tube-rinsing equipment.
Assemble pump sets according to product specifications.
Clean, inspect, and package finished and molded products.
Meet production quantity and quality requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Wear all required personal protective equipment.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead.
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
One to three years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Basic mathematical and measuring skills.
Ability to read and understand work orders, drawings, and product specifications.
Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Ability to accurately complete production paperwork and records.
Ability to work with cleaning solutions, including isopropyl alcohol.
Strong attention to detail and physical coordination.
Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance as needed.
Ability to perform repetitive movements involving the hands, fingers, and wrists.
Ability to grasp, handle, measure, inspect, and assemble small components.
Visual ability to distinguish colors and perform close-range inspections.
Ability to communicate clearly and understand spoken instructions.
Ability to work around moving equipment, moderate noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and occasional vibrations.
Ability to wear required safety equipment and protective clothing.
