Operators are responsible for controlling and executing operations of light assembly and final part packing operations according to work instructions and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Performs machine, assembly and packing operations with limited dimensional inspection to detect defects or equipment malfunction.
- Responsible to recognize and identify suspect and non-conforming parts.
- Responsible to assure proper use of all appropriate safeguarding and safety features at all times.
- Efficiently and accurately reports inventory and labor data to maintain accurate and timely records.
- Perform various other duties from time to time required by the Supervisor and/or Production Manager.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with appropriate relevant experience.
- This is a hands-on position and requires mechanical abilities and problem solving skills.
- The work requires standing, bending and repetitive motions.
- Lifting of 40 pounds is required, as well as the ability to grip and use hand tools.
- Must possess general knowledge of metal stamping equipment operation.
- Ability to complete required paperwork through basic reading and writing skills.
