Assembly & Packaging Technicians
Location: Oconomowoc, WI 53066
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (overtime may be required, including occasional Saturdays)
Compensation: $18 - $19.75/hour (BoE)
- Double-time pay on Saturdays after 50 hours worked
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to build electronic and mechanical products according to blueprints and specifications. This role involves using assembly fixtures, hand tools, and power bench tools in a clean, modern production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components using blueprints and work instructions
- Utilize assembly fixtures and hand/power bench tools safely and efficiently
- Ensure accuracy and quality of assembled products
- Perform basic computer tasks using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Assist with material handling, packing, and shipping as needed
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, walk-behind power lifts, and overhead hoists
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Working Environment & Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a clean, air-conditioned production facility
Regular standing, bending, kneeling, twisting, and reaching overhead
Ability to lift:- Up to 30 lbs routinely
- 31–50 lbs occasionally
- Over 50 lbs occasionally with assistance
Use of hands for precise manipulation of tools, wires, and components
Climbing ladders occasionally (regularly for shipping duties)
Ability to safely work at heights (up to 14 feet) during product testing
Operation of powered equipment and lifting devices
