Assembly - Production

This position involves assembling CNC machines for various companies, ensuring that each product meets high standards of quality and safety. Youll work alongside experienced team members in a clean, organized environment, directly contributing to delivering top-tier machinery to our customers. Hours
1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Opportunity for overtime before or after the regular shift
Pay
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
Assemble CNC machine components following detailed blueprints and schematics
Fabricate parts as needed in cooperation with machinists
Implement machine power-up and conduct initial testing
Prepare machines for shipment and assist in loading for transport
Work with engineers to start up machines and train customers in maintenance
Respond to troubleshooting questions from customers and provide on-site service as needed
Perform warranty inspections and resolve customer issues
Complete paperwork accurately, including markings on prints and customer reports
Maintain ISO certification standards through quality-focused work
Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of the work area
Minimum Requirements
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, indicators)
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Experience with machine shop operations and assembly
Ability to work safely and effectively communicate with team members and customers
Own hand tools preferred
Valid drivers license and insurability to drive company or rental vehicles
Nice to Have Skills
Familiarity with CNC operation and machine alignments
Experience using lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and grinders
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Education and Experience
Graduate of technical school or machine trades apprenticeship
At least five years of related work experience preferred
Other Requirements
No recent felonies involving violence or theft
No misdemeanor theft (as many employees leave personal tools at the shop, theft is not tolerated)
This is a drug-free organization
