Job Type: Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewPeople Source OKC is hiring 2–4 Shop Technician / Assembly candidates for an Oklahoma City company that manufactures and services cementing equipment and tools used in the oil and gas well construction industry.We are looking for dependable, mechanically inclined candidates with previous assembly experience who are eager to learn the company's product line. This is a hands-on shop position involving equipment assembly, heavy lifting, and the use of hoisting equipment.The company is willing to train on the job for candidates who bring a strong work ethic, assembly experience, and a willingness to learn.Job Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment, tools, and components according to specifications
• Use hand and power tools to complete assembly work
• Assist with the assembly of equipment used in oil and gas well construction
• Learn the company's equipment, products, and assembly processes
• Use hoisting equipment to safely lift and position heavy components
• Move and position materials and equipment throughout the shop
• Inspect assembled components for proper fit and quality
• Follow work instructions and directions from shop supervisors
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in an organized manner
• Perform physically demanding work and heavy lifting as required
• Follow all company and shop safety procedures
• Assist with additional shop duties as needed

Requirements

• Previous assembly experience required
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to work with tools and equipment
• Comfortable performing heavy lifting
• Willing and able to learn the company's product line
• Comfortable working with and around hoisting equipment
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required
• Ability to work effectively as part of a shop team
• Previous oil and gas equipment experience is a plus but not required
